Chris joined Grant Thornton in 2016 after 39 years in industry driving international growth as a CEO and Board Director. He is currently a Non-Executive Director/Advisor to several companies in Asia and is Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand and a Director of the Thai Chambers of Commerce/Board of Trade.
Throughout his career he has been keen to promote sustainable business models defining business success on multiple criteria that include a better society for now and the next generation.
He has proven experience in strategic, financial, and commercial management. In 2015, under his leadership, OCS Group's strong overseas performance was recognised in the UK with the Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade.
Chris has spent a considerable amount of his business career in Thailand and Asia working with all types of business including a strong understanding of family-owned businesses and working with the Institute for Family Businesses in the UK.
Chris has a wealth of knowledge and experience in leading and pioneering new business operations within the global B2B services environment. He is a hands-on leader who delivers solutions with conviction and passion whilst operating in complex, involving businesses with changing priorities and multiple external and internal stakeholders.
In addition to developing strategies that expand both the global operations and service capabilities of businesses, Chris has led international, sales and revenue growth agendas, and managed group operations across both emerging and mature economies in both good and bad times.
