Amendment of Thai Civil and Commercial Code (“CCC”)

On 14 September 2022, the Thai Parliament approved the act proposing to amend the CCC (the “Act”). The Act shall be presented to the King for signature and shall come into force upon publication on the Government Gazette.

The amendment is intended to adapt to current technology, reduce unnecessary procedures, increase business flexibility, and enhance the country’s competitiveness.
