  • I would like to thank you and compliment the overall service of Grant Thornton. Compared to others, you are quality wise above your peers that I met. Due, probably, to your professionalism and human quality.
As always, you have all my respect for your outstanding personality, dynamic and enthusiastic,
    you care for your candidates.
  • Off the record, I wish it had been Grant Thornton representing me as I would have seen a far more professionally run process than I have witnessed.
  • Thank you very much for your reply and of course for your wise advises. I’m really impressed!! By far, you are the Headhunter that takes his job more seriously. I will follow your recommendations.
  • I am most appreciative and overwhelmed by the effort and invaluable guidance you have sent to me.
Job hunting is a complex process and it is difficult from the outside
to understand the process form the recipient’s perspective.
  • Thanks for the update. The preparation I received from Grant Thornton was the best
I have ever had as a candidate.
  • Thank you very much for your kind comments. They are very useful to me. I don’t know how to express my gratitude to you more than words “Thank you!!!!”
Hope you don’t mind if I will keep in touch with you in the future.

Some current assignments we are working on

Submitted by Tom Sorensen on Tuesday, December 1st, 2009 - 9:00 am

Some of the assignments we are conducting for our clients are of confidential nature and are not displayed on our web site as confidentiality has been requested by our clients. There can be several reasons: 2400_rosette_orange

The client is expanding or developing a new business line and does not want to alert the competition; someone else is in the job and has not yet been informed that a change is forthcoming; the client has a high turnover on the particular position and is not proud of their performance in retaining staff. Check out the current list of available positions, here.

Whether you want to register your personal resume for the first time or just want to send us your most recent updated resume this is what you should do: www.grantthornton.co.th/resume

You will see that it takes less than a minute to register. Or re-register if you have done it once before. You choose yourself which type of business and and function best describe your background. Even better it requires no password or membership. Can’t really be easier…

Career in Executive Search?

Submitted by Tom Sorensen on Thursday, October 1st, 2009 - 8:31 am

I’m hiring Associate Consultants and Research Associates

Career in Executive Search?

To be successful you must have courage to cold-call people; the telephone must be your best friend;  attracting both active and passive candidates, you will screen and select suitable candidates to put forward to client companies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Thai national over 30 years of age.
  • Passion for selling job opportunities over the phone.2531_group_business_people_colour
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Keen to learn and enjoy responsibility.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Ambitious and confident.
  • Courteous and friendly.

Come and join one of the most successful and respected executive search firms in Thailand.

We select recruitment consultants on their ability to contact executives and managerial candidates by telephone; talking to people you have never met or talked to before. You must be able to sell opportunities and inspire candidates. We do not sell resumes – we deliver candidates. We do not shop on the internet job boards – we hunt people.

Great recruiters make it happen through hard work, making the right calls, build relationships, interact with candidates, understand the opportunity gap in a candidate’s current situation, determine the decision-making criteria a candidate will use to make a change, work with a candidate to help them land a better opportunity, and navigate the delicate offer, negotiation, counteroffer, and notice-giving minefield. End of it all you impress the clients by presenting equally top qualified candidates within a short time. All that’s just a highlight the things great recruiters do well.

Our recruitment procedures are well documented and guide our professional business process. We are a learning organization that emphasizes continuous training of our consultants. We only want the best. Are you one of them?

To prove you have courage and good telephone skills…  please call Khun Nannapat or
Khun Tom:

  • Tom 02 205 8240.

We can always get your resume later.

So You Think You Can Recruit?

Submitted by Tom Sorensen on Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 - 8:37 am

We select Research Associates on their ability to contact people on the telephone who we typically do not know beforehand. You must be able to find names of potential candidates who could be our targets. You need to get through the “gate keeper” (that is what we call receptionists, switchboard and secretaries) to present and sell a job opportunities that will inspire the potential candidates.

Do you want to work with me?

Great recruiters make it happen through hard work, making the right calls, build relationships and interact with candidates.

I am hiring more Research Associates (who later become Associate Consultants) since we are more than busy. We had a fantastic year 2008, but even on that background, we are doing better these first 7 months of 2009. Who said crisis?

On our Careers page you can see all the details what it takes. For the Research Associate, here. And for Associate Consultant, here.201_business_man_woman_colour
